As you know, I’m a big fan of any application that make my life easier. Particularly if it can round up and harness the power of multiple applications. I use Friendfeed to feed my blogs and tweets to Facebook. For a time I was using TwitterUpdater to send my blog posts to Twitter, but for some reason, it stopped working. I tested Brightkit (now HootSuite), but my posts weren’t sent or there was a long delay. Then one of my Twitter buddies suggested HelloTxt.
HelloTxt allows you to post your status once and have it show up on all your other networks. One application to post to them all! You can also read your friends’ updates as well.
You can use the site to update your status or send it via email even from a mobile phone. It also has a WordPress plugin (which I use) so that your blog posts can show up your Twitter and other social networks. It works with about 40 social networks including Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Plaxo, FriendFeed, Flickr and more.
Its free to use and easy to set up. To learn more and sign up visit HelloTxt.

The Coupon Mom is offering 3 free ebooks that can help you save big at the grocery and drug stores. And you don’t need to register or give your email to get them!
I recently saw the Coupon Mom on a re-run of Oprah. She bought $125 worth of groceries for about $37. I was impressed! So I visited her site to get the low down on grocery shopping. The ebooks offer some great tips to get you started. However, I think discount grocery shopping is a skill that is developed over time. I ended up spending 25% over my normal budget and spent over 5 hours (3 of them grocery shopping) in the process. I can only hope that the 6 boxes of cereal, 8 cans of diced tomatoes and other items I stockpiled will last long enough to have the end result be a lower monthly grocery bill.

At the recommendation of one of the women in my mastermind group, I decided to try out ScribeFire a Firefox blogging ad-on. Once installed, ScribeFire puts a little icon at the bottom of your screen. When you want to post to your blog, simply click the icon and start writing, enter your categories and options, preview, and then publish to your blog. It works with a variety of platforms including WordPress, Movable Type, LiveJournal, Xanga, Windows Live Spaces, Tumblr, MySpace, Blogger and more.
Another great funtion is the ability to drag and drop formatted text from the Internet into your blog. (I highlighed and then dragged the list below right from the ScribeFire website)
- Categorize and tag your blog posts
- Upload images
- Set timestamps
- Save works-in-progress as notes
- Post an entry as a draft
- Share your posts on social websites
- Upload files via FTP
Scribefire also offers Quick Ads which can be used to quickly and easily monetize your blog through a variety of advertising resources.
To learn more, visit ScribeFire.
