Clipmarks

For my writing, I do a lot of research on current trends whether its the number of telecommuters in the US or how many people access the Internet at work. Organizing this research was a bit tedious. I used to copy and paste the information and the link to the site in a Word document. Later, I started using bookmarks or adding the page to Del.ici.ous. More recently I began copying the information and storing it in my Google Notebook. However, I recently discovered Clipmarks and I love it!

Clipmarks will clip the items you want to copy and store them for you for later access. So instead of a link to a page that a bookmark provides, you can clip the information you want and save it. But Clipmarks does even more. You can highlight several items at once to clip and save. When you save you can store it in your Clipmark account, email it, post it to your blog, or send it to your Twitter or other social network account.

Yesterday I was working on my new book proposal which needed statistics on Internet use in the United States. With Clipmarks I was able to highlight several bits of data, clip it and save it for use when I get to the writing part. It was fast and easy. And when I’m ready to use it, its fast and easy to find.

If you use the Internet in research or just love sharing bits of information you find online, Clipmarks offers an easy to way to store and share what you find. To learn more visit Clipmarks.
